I challenge everyone to read the first months of posts and really say they are much different. The only difference I see is all this bitching going on right now.

I did, and they are different - and the first few years have a much higher percentage of actually interesting finds and a much smaller percentage of "hey look I saved 10% with my Power Up Rewards card" (/hyperbole). I'm not the only one who feels the thread has fallen off in the past six months to a year, as evidenced by statements by some of those engaged in the the "bitching" you reference.

I personally skip all video posts, CRT posts (your posts are really informative, but too much in specifically this thread, imo), and most involving gamestop specials. There's just no "wow factor" there. Agree on separate threads.

You know what's ridiculous? Either way we're gonna end up with the same thing.

Choice 1: Create three new threads, as described previously, and lock this thread.

Choice 2: Leave this thread alone and create a new "Rare Finds" thread.

Either choice, we're gonna end up with the same three threads. Choice one, well, it's obvious. Choice two, we'll have the new Rare Finds thread, this thread, and the Games Acquired 2012 thread. So we're gonna have the same three threads either way. The only difference is whether or not to lock this one to avoid confusion. And honestly, I can't understand why some one would be upset about this thread being locked. It's not like we're not gonna have the same exact thread, we'll just have a fresh start. What's so bad about that? There's nothing really important in this thread anyway, it's mostly just bragging rights.

I can't believe i've read all the pages of this train wreck. It's really not that hard, choice 2. Make that separate thread for the epic/great finds. Example: some one buys a virtual boy in box for $20. Some one buys Suikoden II for $10. Etc.

Leave this thread as is for those that want to post what they found today.
