How many consoles did you own during its relevant time?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Lots of impressive games on PSP. Sorry to hear it's boring you. Need some recommendations?

I could probably use some. So far, I've only gotten Daxter, MGS Portable Ops, and MGS Peace Walker.

There's a couple of pretty nice Megeman remakes on it. The original got remade into Powered Up, and MMX1 got remade into Maverick Hunter X. Both are definitely must haves, and are numbers one and two on my list of reasons as to why someone should get the console.

I love MMX1, so I'll definitely have to look into that one.

When it comes to Mega Man I prefer the originals. If you want to use TN HEN, you can play those with emulators. That alone makes the PSP worth having.

But reducing it to emulation would be a mistake!

First off, Valkyrie Profile! You probably knew I was going to say that. The PSP port goes for like $10, shipping included, and it'll last you a long time. Make sure you play Hard mode. But really, it's an incredible game.

Other RPGs are actually getting really cheap if you don't have them. Star Ocean 1 and 2 have been remade with really good voice acting and everything. I know, SO2 with good acting sounds weird, but it's pretty great. Just get that one, really. Final Fantasy 012 Dissidia is great. It's actually a dual-UMD game, one of only two, and includes all the content from the first one. which means the first one is even cheaper. Crisis Core. Tactics Ogre. Disgaea. Lunar Silver Star Story, Ys 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7. FF1/2/4 Jeanne D'Arc. Final Fantasy Tactics remade with a new, good, Old English translation.

And that's just scratching the surface. It's an RPG dreamland.

If you don't like RPGs, there are cool action games - Ace Combat X is really good. There's Street Fighter Alpha Something, BlazBlue, at least two Guilty Gears, WipeOut and several Need for Speed games. A few puzzle games, but no point and clicks. Those all go to DS, of course. Nice platformers like LittleBitPlanet, Castlevania, a few others. All my platformers are on GBA, heh.

-Tons of compilations. Some of the weirder ones are on that feature right now, but there's also the Sega Genesis Collection, Metal Slug Anthology, etc.

Also some music games like the patapon series and Rock Band Unplugged.

There are also the big ones like Grand Theft Auto, Killzone, etc. I don't have any/want any but they should be really affordable too. I heard the SOCOM was pretty good, but don't quote me on that. Star Wars Battlefront ports are no good, though. Stay away from those.

And...er...there are a lot more, but I think I'm going to stop now. It's 2:00 AM :P

You should also get MMPU, even I don't really like the original that much, but PU is absolutely massive. Multiple characters, features from later in the series, two more RMs, playing as the RMs, a level designer (correct me if I'm wrong, but the only one in the series), DLC, missions, an intro stage, a severely nerfed Yellow Devil, three difficulty levels, and improved movement patterns for bosses are just the tip of the iceberg as to how it improves over the original.
