Shit, I didn't even know there was a 2011 edition... lol

And seeing it only has like 27 pages I think it's safe to say it wasn't a huge success...
that's because we posted an update monthly instead of every time we took a trip to the mall or won something on eBay.

How many pages would have made it succesful in your eyes?

Because people didn't post each time they bought something, but generally at the end of the month. But hey, who cares about restraint right? Let's just post about everything everywhere multiple times and be a lawless shithole forum like most of them on the internet.

No need for cynicism. This thread's title indicates that you can post all your purchases here, which also include the finds. Which means you already can double post the finds both here and in the finds of the day thread. See what I mean?...

The good thing about this thread last year was how it made me keep track of just how manyh games I bought in a year, and how muhc I'd spent on them. It was quite enlightening, and interesting to compare my buying habits to everyone elses. I thought of it in quite a different way to the finds of the day thread.

Yes, I see this thread as "what did I get my grubby hands on". Whether stories and fancy photography is included is fine, or maybe we make a separate show and tell with pictures thread. The 'Finds' thread was originally for rare and super deals. Instead it had turned into a dump for everything. :(

as did I - it was more of a place to keep a running list than to brag about or discuss purchases. There really wasn't a discussion of particular games as much as discussion about our collective purchasing habits, which was a different discussion.
