Shadow of the Colossus was such a stressful (yet freakin amazing) game. hahanoiseredux wrote:so how do you feel about Shadow of the Colossus then? The "endless staircase" in Super Mario 64 freaked me out when I was little for some reason.

to be fair, I said "not a particularly good game" - it's not bad, there's just nothing driving me to play it compared to certain other platformers.BoringSupreez wrote:SMB2 is a good game, but I can see why a lot of people wouldn't like it. I don't think it's bad. I don't think it's very good. It's just... there.

I finished SMB2 probably about a year ago for the first time ever and thing that really drove me to do so was that I never really gave it a chance when I was younger and I wanted to explore it. It's not my favorite Mario game or anything but I like how quirky it is. The ending is like WTF but other than that it wasn't bad. It was fairly difficult (and sometimes scary) which is good in my opinion.
