True. I recently got rid of my PCE though so having the UMD to fall back on is great. Also I have dainty little woman fingers so playing shmups using the d-pad doesn't bother me in the slightest, if anything it's quite comfortable.

Salamander Portable is freaking amazing too though, worth the 50 bucks imo. Worth it for Salamander 2 and Xexex (only home release is in this compilation) alone, but getting the other 3 Konami classics sweetens the deal even more.

it should be mentioned that the Konami Portable collections offer more games than the previous PS1 collections.

Does anybody else have the EA Replay compilation? The game listing on wiki and in noise's article shows Lakers vs Celtics and NHL 95 but I don't see them. Are they unlockable?

yikes really? I honestly hadn't played it an about a year, and grabbed the game list from Wikipedia I believe. Now yr making me question if it was on there or not (or if I just remember playing emulated versions on PSP  ) ...but at the same time, why would the Wiki page list them else-wise. The game I played the hell out of on there was Polterguy. Wow, I really hope I didn't just imagine that Wiki was right, while actually perpetuating false info!!!

Man, BAIT AND SWITCH ;)

Looks like 14 titles, which are:

B.O.B., Budokan, Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, Haunting Starring Polterguy, Mutant League Football, Road Rash, Road Rash II, Road Rash 3, Syndicate, Ultima: The Black Gate, Virtual Pinball, Wing Commander, and Wing Commander: Secret Missions

I was curious how they were going to handle the licensing with Lakers vs. Celtics and NHL '95.

There goes that article :D

Yeah, I just fired it up and they aren't anywhere to be seen under the main menu or "collectables" or "EA Extras" or anywhere else. There are trailers for Madden and NHL 07, though.

Moral of the story: never trust a wiki.

or a wookie...
