A guy I know who works at GS told me that the Nintendo brand component cable and the store's off-brand cable are often the same item number.

It's like a 1-in-a-billion chance that's it's a first party cable.

edit: oh, I checked and nothing within 100 miles.

There are only 1st party GC component cables. Probably just ignorant employees that can't keep composite and component straight. Had that happen to me a few months ago here. Website showed component cables at a store out of my normal haunting area. I got there and they were just composite cables.

I have seen Wii Component cables bagged as the Gamecube Component SKU. I bought a Gamecube Component cable at a local Gamestop, others have too, a lucky find. Posted the story and pic Here. Wait a minute, Gamestop still labels the SKU as Gamecube/N64 Component Cable. :?

There are three SKUS to look under for a mislabeled GC Component cable. It can happen, an unkowing employee bagging the wrong item. There maybe some other bags on the peg hook?

1. Gamecube/N64 Component SKU 900572

2. Wii Component SKU - A chance the GC Cable

3. 360 Component SKU - GC Cable plug looks similar

Why not have them ship a copy to your local store?
Oh yeah man, I wouldn't expect ya' to. ha

Thanks to everyone who's checked so far.

No GC component cables/broadband adapter by me.

And just a reminder (since this is a new page)...
