You know what I still need to beat Shining Force...

Been busy!

I am so stoked for Golden Axe Warriors though next month.

I am psyched for this whole upcoming year. 2012's schedule speaks to me much more loudly than 2011's.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Indeed. 2012 by far has the largest selection of games I'm interested in since TR started. I've played about half of them previously but there's still some good variety.

Same for me. Maybe it's because I actually participated in the suggestions this time?

Does anyone know if the Steam version of Wolfenstein 3D is any good? That's the one that I'm considering getting since it's only 2.49 right now.

It's just the DOS version running in DOSBox. Nothing special. In fact, I know a few people actually have issue with the Steam dosbox setups so you may want to pass.

Buy this version. It's the one I've got, and I've never had a problem with it. Runs fine in real DOS and in DOSBox

I can believe this. Wasn't happy with the Steam versions of the old Dooms at all myself. My as well grab the WAD's from somewhere and use a source port.

Man, I really wanted to get Maniac Mansion for Commodore 64 or Amiga 500, but it's surprisingly hard to find and much pricier than other alternatives :S

If all else fails, I'll play it on Day of the Tentacle.
