Apparently the Gamecube version came out Oct 2006. The Wii version came out Nov 2006 at the same time as the Wii console.

What? I swear the Cube version was released in December. It was such weird timing, like they DIDN'T want it to sell.

The GC version DEFINITELY came out in December. I remember because I was following that very closely back then and bought the GC version right after it came out.

I remember how annoyed I was when the GC version was pushed back too.

As far as mainstream games go, I would say Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Lollipop Chainsaw are both looking really good.

The indie games I'm looking forward to are:

Thanks for fixing it. I seem to recall reading that the Gamecube version came out after the Wii version so it was to my surprise to read the wiki entry. Serves me right for taking it as the truth.

EDIT: Amazon says Dec 11, 2006 for the cube and Nov 17, 2006 for the Wii.

Only looking forward to two games in the holiday period/Q1 that are yet to come: Oddworld Stranger's Wrath HD, and the Jak and Daxter collection. I'd say I was excited for the PSN version of Sonic CD, but it has no solid release date.

Edit: Stranger's Wrath and SCD are both out, so scratch those.
