This is me. Why? Doom was good. Goldeneye 007 was good. COD 1 and 2 were good. Halo was good. But I think that you shouldn't make a game over and over again with .1% better graphics and a new gun. No one I know realizes this. I think realism has screwed games and their players these days. Retro games are completely original and have great music. (After Atari), Cool Graphics (IMO), and more fun in general. I don't think it's the shows they watch or the games they play. They are entitled to their opinion. It's them smashing the latest and greatest thing into my skull, and if I don't like it, I'm a social reject. (I have 3 or 4 friends that don't do that, and can have a good conversation without any problems, because I like what I like.) I just have a strange taste for my age and that's all they care about. I like my friends though, so I'm fine at school.
Same situation here, for the most part. Unless it has a unique art style though, I'd have to disagree on the graphics part of your argument. It's more than worth it for better gameplay and music, though. Even 17-year olds like me can appreciate 20 year old consoles.

'Beavis and Butthead are not role models, they're cartoons. Some of the things they could do could get a person arrested, expelled, possibly deported. To put it another way, don't try this at home.'

Beavis and Butthead stupid? Most of the characters in Beavis and Butthead are actually on the numb side. Beavis and Butthead are regularly outsmarting them, or pulling a stunt that causes chaos or havoc in the lives of the show's secondary cast. When these two are caught (which they rarely are), they're usually scolded and chased away. At best the school gives them detention or at worst Beavis gets deported. Incidentally, this is good variant of what is refered to as parody and satire. Detention won't change someone if they don't care. Getting deported for being profiled as a Mexican is a stroke of genius and shows what kind of society we live in.

These two know how to have fun when they hang out, and they regularly do so. The inside joke reference that someone made is just another variant of these two having fun. This is an MTV show, and when they're on the couch between episodes they're usually ripping on sucky music videos.

Young 13 year old boys are almost always looking for a role model that is smarter than they are. I'm surprised the adults in this topic decide to throw that away and rip on him instead without just cause.

Yeah guys! jkjkjkjkjk! Someone here said that I think I'm mature because I hate B and B. Well, no. I know a lot more people my age that ARE more mature than me (By about 20x :P) But that's not the point. I see why you guys think it's funny, and I'll admit, I've laughed at the show two or three times. But it was over when they're watching TV. Like Jersey Shore. That's funny. But that's the only funny part, imo. It's just that after watching it with friends, they practically look up to them, and treat them like gods, and Every. Single. Thing. they say or do is funny. Also, I don't know if it's just me, but their laughs are INCREDIBLY distracting to me. (I'm obviously easily distracted, because I stopped typing this like 5 times to turn to look at the TV when I hear the word "Clouds" on the news.) This isn't an excuse, it's just that part kills the show for me. Now this is funny.

I just find it kinda bizarre that a 13 year old is complaining about his generation enjoying a show that had its entire original run before he was born.

I find it kind of weird a thread this incredibly stupid is about to hit 10 pages and has over 10k views.

I disagree, and quite strongly actually.
