SNES' tip size for radioshack universal

does anyone use these radioshack universal power adapters and can tell me which letter would fit the SNES?

Outside diameter 6.9mm, inside diameter 4.1mm, pin 0.7mm power connector is what some people say, tip R. and the polarity is reversed from the genesis right?

does the SNES 2/junior use the same adapter/tip?

if i wanted to make a connector to rig up a working genesis brick to work on the snes, where would i get the parts? http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/ninte ... -power.htm

Radio Shack used to sell a brick pack specifically for the SNES. I bought one for a SNES I gave as a gift years ago. I still have the box for some reason and it says it came with 3 tips, but I don't remember that for sure. On the back it describes the 6.9 one as "light blue tip" which matches the picture of the one on the Mmonkey guide.

FWIW the part number of this power brick set was 273-1614 and UPC 040293105310

And yes the SNES mini uses the same plug. I've found a few laptop adapters that have a similar plug on them before.
