RF adapter Genesis/SNES

Does the RF adapter for the SNES work with the Genesis model 1? I heard somewhere that it does, and I'm getting a Genesis without cords so that could save me some money.

the RF adapter for the SNES works with the sega master system, so it should work on a genny 1.

yep. flawlessly! i actually just got a genesis the other day (to mod for svideo) and it works fine with the snes rf out.

It works like a charm for the model 1 genesis, master system, NES and model 1 SNES.
