That's so funny. My sister's girlfriend is from Germany and she says "unpack presents" too. I think it was last Christmas or the year before, she asked me if I wanted to see my sister unpack her presents. I thought nothing of it, but my brother's girlfriend didn't even understand what she meant. We say 'open' or 'unwrap' presents.

edit: Any one notice the interactive Google page today?

http://www.google.com/

Click on the buttons below Google. I clicked them in order from left to right, I don't know if it makes a difference. But after I clicked them all, it started playing Jingle Bells. After the songs ends, it searches the phrase "happy holidays" for you.

Reminds me of a teacher I once had who moved to Texas from farther north. He'd called his brother once and said something to the effect of "I'm fixin' to go to the store" and his brother was all confused.

Merry Christmas all!

I woke up early as hell and did some of those Steam Holiday achievements and won the game Wings of Prey! Nice way to kick off Christmas morning before the rest of the family gets up!

Merry Christmas from sunny gorgeous Florida! 8)

Decent gaming Chistmas for me. I got a 3DS + Super Mario 3D Land, a uDraw + the pack-in game & Pictionary (lolz), Sands of Destruction, and Kirby's Epic Yarn. 8)

Also in Florida. Enjoying my 80-degree with 50% humidity Christmas.

Didn't get anything video-game related, just a bunch of books and a new pair of shoes. Needed those.

I have one small gripe about one of my presents: Arkham City's "manual" is a joke. I sure hope that doesn't become a trend.

Super Mario 3D Land has a pretty crummy manual too. It's just a folded up piece of paper!

But nothing is worse than the PC games with PDF "manuals."

So what did everybody get?

This year I got a hell of a loadout (actually a lot of it was money that I used to buy stuff)

Kindle Touch
Atari Jaguar + 2 games (NIB)
Assorted shirts
$50 I plan on taking to Level 7 Games later on. :)

Merry Christmas everybody! Going to my sisters house later to eat and then my brother in law and I are probably going to sit in front of the television all day and watch basketball. Can't wait for Bulls @ Lakers!
