It's not worth it to me is what I'm saying. Many places give discounts. Steam has done way better.
Now what is good is buy 2 get 1 free. That's a real deal I can praise.

Burning Doom: If a magazine is what you wanted, great! +1 for Gamestop. I don't really care about game magazines past the 16-bit era, so I was just expressing my opinion that in exchange for my information (which they obviously want), I didn't really see anything in return.
Noise: It's not totally for free. You have to sign up, and that costs private information. If you don't think that demographic statistics can help boost their sales if utilized right, you really should take a simple course in marketing.

I actually don't even know what we're talking about. But gamers do feel entitled to a lot of shit. Don't need a class for that one.o.pwuaioc wrote: Noise: It's not totally for free. What do they want for free?
Re: Is Gamestop Evil? The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
I probably should have said "you haven't read the piracy threads" --- though piracy often comes up in the Other OS threads. Plenty of folks around here think DRM or unpopular TOS entitles them to piracy.o.pwuaioc wrote:What do they want for free?
