Is SCD emulated on DC?
Re: Is SCD emulated on DC?
i'm not sure if there is one; i'm sure you'd be able to find out fairly quickly on google. either way i had a genesis emulator disc a while back and those ran fine..don't think sega cd games need that much more horsepower so if it exists it'll probably be worth the effort.
Re: Is SCD emulated on DC?
there was plenty of talk and rumours, but no one ever released a SCD emu for Dreamcast.
Only decent emulators on DC are NesterDC SE, SMSPLUS, and Neo4all/CD
Even with them being half decent, they still aren't as accurate as their original hardware.

Re: Is SCD emulated on DC?
Nothing yet, but I believe it was Chui (the guy behind the "4ALL" series of Dreamcast emulators) who stated that his personal reason was that he wanted to perfect Mega Drive emulation for the console before moving on to the Mode 7 capabilities and what-have-you of the Mega CD. This was an eye-roller a few years back, since Mega Drive emulators were primarily based off of Sega's disappointing Sega Smash Pack emulator. With recent updates, though, Mega Drive emulators are approaching near-actual compatibility.

So, in the next five years or so, I'd venture to guess that we'll be well on our way to being able to pop a legitimate or copied Mega CD disk into our Dreamcasts and play Sonic CD, Lunar, and Snatcher -- so long as someone puts the work into it. We've been very lucky so far that talented individuals have maintained a vested interest in the console.

A sega CD emulator would be awesome for dreamcast. Just imagine being able to play Sonic CD, Bangai-o, Marvel vs Capcom, powerstone, Lunar, popful mail , snatcher , Skies of arcadia on the SAME system(don't be a smartass and say PC
)

This is a bit old, but here's a video showing Yabause (Saturn emulator) running Sexy Parodius. It's seems okay, but pretty slow. Perhaps the emulation's better now, but I haven't found a newer video.
