Subscribed to Pat the NES punk after reading this thread. I first saw him in the AVGN world championship episode and I really like his goofy character.
Thanks for the recommendations, I was getting really bored with the subscriptions that I currently have. I'll work my way through some of the others over Christmas.
I enjoy watching AVGN and Pat NES Punk for older stuff. For newer games I enjoy Angry Joe, he does a pretty good job of breaking down the games and at times has some funny moments as well.
Also, if you are a fan of SNES and 16 bit games, check out Clan of the Gray Wolf and watch the reviews called "16-Bit Gems" they are pretty good as well.
Check out YT user Chrontendo -- he has been playing every single game for the Famicom/FDS/NES since 2008, he just released the newest set from a few months in 1989. He will play through and review the games -- also has a project called Chronsega which is doing the same for the SMS.
Some of the best Let's Plays ever also go to YT user ZetaPlays -- he spins his own "Wheel of Crap" and plays a NES, SNES, or Genesis game at random and reviews/mocks it as he does -- you'll be there a long time

COOL -- will check out
Have you checked him out? I don't know what it is, but his reviews just appeal to my taste perfectly. Gary Stardust is the man.
Watched the one for Layer Section (known to me on Taito Legends 2 as Rayforce) -- was a bit CREEPY but I am guessing it's something that he is known to do? And I have to get used to the horizontal view of a vertical game

He has another for the Turbografx/PC Engine.
That rules, was unaware of his PCE series. Learning a lot about the Famicom and the FDS going through the early eps -- those Japanese certainly had the odd game market cornered! Plus I got to see ExedExes
