Actually, I think the PS2 was unrivaled in the 3D Platformer genre that generation. Four good Ratchet and Clank games, three good Jak games, three good Sly games, Pac-man World 2, and Rayman 3.

Sure, maybe for it's generation, but I'm thinking overall.

Of course it was weak in the P&C area. What console isn't, outside of failed early/mid 90's systems? As for WRPGs, those never really picked up outside of PC until this gen. So it has excuses.
