My PSP Christmas
I got a new 3000 with a 8 Gig Sony Memory Stick and now for X-mas I'm getting some games for it! Tell me what you guys think about these choices and any other recommendations?
The 3rd Birthday
Crisis Core (FF7 fan in me couldn't help it)
Star Ocean First Departure
Star Ocean Second Evolution

Re: My PSP Christmas
3rd Birthday looks awesome, but I haven't played it yet.
Crisis Core is great. I'd hope if they ever do remake FF7 it will look like Crisis Core.
I'm surprised there's no Silent Hill on yr list (as a survival horror fan). I'd also recommend a more obscure title called Infection. It's a pretty brainless horror hack-n-bash game, BUT it has this interesting online thing where your profile literally infects other people you play against and you can then track your infection to see how many PSP's it's reached. Interesting and cheap.
What other genres do you like? I could talk PSP shop all day.

Re: My PSP Christmas
Those are all gifts from my sister-in-law, ordered all 4 games brand new from Amazon for right at $50.00. Seems now is the time to be buying PSP games at cheap.
I don't have any retro systems but I noticed PSP has a lot of "collections" like Namco and Capcom, etc. Any of those worth buying?

LOL. I just finished writing a huge article for this very site that outlines every single PSP retro collection in great detail.jvalentine98 wrote:Those are all gifts from my sister-in-law, ordered all 4 games brand new from Amazon for right at $50.00. One more I almost got was Twisted Metal Head On. Seems like a fun way to kill a little time and I liked Twisted Metal 2 back in the day

Dont forget to get Castlevania and if you like RPGs check out Ys and Lunar as well
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

it's not up yet. Should be up soon.jvalentine98 wrote:I will find and read
non-compilation, I highly suggest Half-Minute Hero if you like quirky RPG's. It's weird, but it's an RPG with everything condensed to 30 second bits.
Re: My PSP Christmas
A psp's strength IMO overthe DS is shmups, fighters, and racing.jvalentine98 wrote:I will find and read
Shmups:
Soldier Collection (JPN only)
Gradius collection
Space invaders extreme
Racing:
Crazy taxi: Fare wars
Motorstorm: arctic ridge

Fighting:
Street fighter alpha 3
Guilty gear xx
Tekken Resurruction
Another games I enjoy are:
N+ (exclusive levels on psp version)
Fat princess
Yugioh tag force 5
Hope this list helps you.
