I'm trying to finish Half-life again, I've had this since it came out and have never finished it, death match would distract me. Im stuck in the first teleportation lab

im playing BF3s campaign as well but multiplayer is taking time away from that too.

Keep at it, it's an amazing game.

Until "that" place at the end. It's funny that I love HL1 and HL2 equally (they're really different and beat each other at some things, like the Marines >>>> Combine, HL1 is more of a platformer at times and has cool atmosphere, but HL2 is just epic)... although I can admit I've probably cleared HL2 way more than the first game. But the first game is probably a lot longer.

I probably like Unreal more than HL1 though.

So I am at this part in Singularity that I've tried to get past about 20 times and it is driving me nuts because I really like the game, but I don't want to start over.

There's a place (an hour or two in) where you have to shoot these cryo tanks sitting next to some baddies - after you take them out you then get met with several rounds of bad guys clawing at your face. The problem is that the auto-save checkpoint saved my game with about 2 bullets across my two weapons, and there is no ammo to be had between where the game spawns me and where these waves start coming down. I can't kill them all with my kinfe, and there's a few health packs and occasionally about 4 rounds of random ammo will spawn in a box. So basically I am bringing a knife to a gunfight, but have no other option from what I can tell.

I am playing the 360 version, so if anyone knows how to start from an earlier checkpoint, enable a cheat, or otherwise address a bad save point, I'm all ears.

Played about an hour of MOH:Rising Sun Multiplayer for GCN.I played 20 min Deathmatches against a full house of bots, tweaked the control layout and went to town.

Welrod FTW!!

Anyone with a Wii or Cube pick this up the Multiplayer is really fun.4 player split-screen and up to 10 total I think with bots.

You can try a hacked savegame, but of course it'll be a 100% game. I don't think the final autosave allows level select either.

Console cheats have gone the way of the dodo thanks to those bloody achievements. Bleh.

I used to play that bot mode on PS2 all the time back when Rising Sun was a relatively new game. Can't say I have any love for it today, though. Rising Sun marks the beginning of MOH's loss of quality (and dominance in the market) IMO.

I do agree Rising Sun was disappointing and the start of loss qualitiy and dominance for the franchise.Good thing I can say is the MP mainly offers classic levels (imo),A.I is so so (but at least you can play offline),nice custom options (controls, match settings, etc) and graphics arent bad nor was the framerate.

So I have a blast every now and again with it.

I'm playing Resistance: Fall of Man. I find it to be really challenging; even on the Normal difficulty setting.
