I called Atlus USA. Lady was very pleasant, but wouldn't tell me. Maybe I'll call the Japanese offices on my lunch break.

I hope it's Growlanser, I love the art style. I've never played a Gungnir game.

The pixel art thing could be a total ruse though. It could be a zoom-in of the American cover, which no one has seen.

um... yes you have. Gungnir is part of the Dept Heaven series. IE: Riviera, Yggdra Union and Knights in the Nightmare.

Wow I am an idiot. I did not know that, though I do vaguely recall reading it on HG101 some time ago. I figured we were talking about games called Gungnir 1, Gungnir 2, etc.

Well in that case, I love the Gungnir games! ........ or is that Dept Heaven games? I'm still confused haha.

haha yeah, no. Gungnir is the FOURTH game in the Dept Heaven series. (Well, technically it's the fifth game in the series, but the third game isn't out yet -- if that makes sense).

I really want to see Gungnir released in the US and hopefully whatever the third game is as well, so that all five games are available -- preferably all on UMD. (Though, I'd actually love it if there was an eventaul PS3 Dept Heaven compilation of all five games).
