haha yeah, not a claim at all. More just a "hey! They announced REP in 2009, and then it never happened but announced a 3DS game in 2010... hmm..."Opa Opa wrote:As far as I can tell, the game was always just a concept and has no direct correlation with any RE game. I can't find gameplay, screenshots, etc. to back up your claim.noiseredux wrote:I actually was thinking that maybe Revelations began it's life as RE Portable?
edit: or maybe "guess" is a better word?

Well, you never know. REP could have had posed as some sort of influence somewhere, sometime, someplace.
Re: No RE on PSP
It's not like dropping games is something new to Capcom. It's been pretty common of them to do such things for the past decade, these past 5 years in particular.

Cough* MMU and MML3 *cough.
Even though I will get Revelations, I just won't buy it new. Capcom kinda screwed up this gen. Hopefully they will learn and appease longtime fans (please release reboot Darkstalkers, Rival schools, and other fighting franchises!).

Capcom is one those studios that peaked a generation or two ago, like Square. I don't know if they'll ever get back to that status. For all intents and purposes, Capcom, Square and Konami were the PSX era.
They have escaped into the mansion where they thought it was safe, yet.

You don't belong on this site if you don't consider their peak the SNES era

I never owned an SNES. I had a "Sega" or a Genesis. I played Shadowrun and Liberty or Death a lot, though. I did have SF2 Champion Edition. Never got "into" gaming until PSX eraZeroAX wrote:jvalentine98 wrote:

You might not be able to buy it new if Capcom includes their retarded save system. Looking at the abysmal sales figures for Mercs I hope Capcom sees sense.swiftzx wrote:brunoafh wrote:It's not like dropping games is something new to Capcom.
