i finally unlocked the 95-96 Rockets and Nuggets team last night. Nuggets was a tough one since Chris Jackson aka Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf was a tough cover.

i also started "My Player" mode where i would only control my character to make it to the NBA. During the training camp try out i scored 17 pts and 8 assist in about 25 mins (i was the PG). it was also a nice touch when i sat on the bench i could watch my teammates go take on our opponent (we won btw). after the try out i got interviewed by three teams (Rockets, Suns and Pacers) where i would chose my answers in A, B, C form. They asked me how i would help the team, is it ok for me to come of the bench playing behind Steve Nash, etc. Really nice stuff. :) After that it was the NBA draft and i had to wait for my name to be called by David Stern. I was taken 12th pick by the Phoenix Suns and was signed for four years. 8)

Nice!

Sevin and I played a couple games the other night but the server kept booting us - usually in the second quarter with me down around 10 points (on average). I definitely need more practice as it was clear he knew how to optimize his team.

my friend, it's not about what picked you are in the draft. it's how you do in your NBA career.

look at Monta Ellis, his a 2nd Round, 40th pick or Kobe Bryant 1st Round, 13th pick (and got traded the same night from Hornets to Lakers).

and look at some 1st Round, 1st pick guys like Michael Olowankandi or Kwame Brown....heck 1st Round, 2nd Pick SAM "freakin" Bowie. :P
