WARNING: VIdeo Quality Poorer After New Xbox 360 Dash Update

Just saw this report over at Kotaku and thought I'd warn everyone about this. It seems that the video quality of your Xbox 360 will be downgraded significantly after installing the new dash update. So anyone who values their high quality visuals may want to re-think going online and downloading the update if they haven't already.

Thankfully, my 360 is currently boxed away (just bought a PS3) so it hasn't been updated yet

Doesn't this only apply to streamed videos? If so, you'd need to connect to the internet anyways to view them, and in order to connect, you have to update.
