ended up taking home a 27" Sony Wega HDTV from Goodwill for a steal at $15. Seems to work great, only tested it real quick with my genesis though. This thing has as many inputs as my LCD in the living room, it even has HDMI which was a surprise considering it has a date of 2004 on it.

Got a Super Castlevania 4 cart today for $5 at my local thrift store. Along with a bag of controllers (3 n64, 2 snes) for $10.

got this for free :) also got an atari 7800 pro system, with about 30 games, all for free! im happy
