Hm. Makes me regret not ordering the Z:SS remote-plus bundle. (But DAMN my huge backlog.)Niode wrote:Skyward Sword shows that the motion plus DOES work. My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

I agree with you on this. I wish that the sega collection was on the wii. If you want some sega then get sonic collection, sonic gems, for the gc. There you get the sonic's for the wii and you don't have to buy them on the vc. Also snk collection, midway collection 1-3 and even both the namco museum collection''s for the gamecube is worth getting if you love old school arcade.prfsnl_gmr wrote:If for no other reason, retro gamers should be a fan of the Wii because compilations still receive a physical release on that platform.
Dragon's Lair Trilogy? Thank you. Mad Dog McCree Gunslinger's Pack? Yes, please. Data East Arcade Classics? Awesome.
I must admit, however, that Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection and all of the recent HD collections on the PS3 are making me a little jealous, however...

Don't forget Prince of Persia the Forgotten Sands for the Wii! It's a completely different game than it's 360/PS3 counterparts and the waggling isn't so bad. The rhythm of his combos makes it feel less chaotic... swing... swing... swing... double swing (nunchuck too)... it takes a little while to get used to but it can be controlled. The puzzles are also a riot. There are also pointer mechanics that help bring some new magic for the Prince to wield into the mix. Really really fun game. Some new ideas for the series and an entry Ubisoft can be proud of. ..Waggle is USUALLY a deal breaker for me.

Re: the wii system my thought's
the wii was pretty awesome, for a little while. the innovation was neat but i craved hardcore gameplay. it may have its awesome games but 360/ps3 satisfies me better.(except for the butt-loads of cost.) nintendo is dear to me, sega is more, 3do is least. the wii was awesome for the casual gamer(noob). i just needed more gore, action, online, multiplayer. even though graphics dont make a game, the wii was seriosly lacking. nintendo isnt big to let down though. the were awesome enough where everyone stole there idea for crap like "you are the controller"(stolen slogan for sega's activator)

We need to just make threads of suggested games for each system, short description of the games, and continually update it as we find games. Possibly give a short review also?
I want a Wii, but I believe I'm just going to pick them up when I get a Wii U.

Like one thread where everyone contributes game recommendations for a certain system? Or anyone who wants to makes their own thread of game recommendations? Or people make suggestions for a Must Play Wii games Guide, and such? The Last Horseman wrote:We need to just make threads of suggested games for each system, short description of the games, and continually update it as we find games. I think that is an awsome idea. I know racketboy has his knowledge and he and his team does alot of research to get the best knowledge and info for each system but I think we as fans should do this.optmusprimenumber wrote:Like one thread where everyone contributes game recommendations for a certain system? I want to start either on the sega genesis or the wii. I just want to just give my opinion on the system and the best games I feel that the system has to offer and then someone can replay the post and write their best games for the system and so forth and so on. Also add favorite add on's and extra'a for the system. What is everybody's thought's on this. Also I can do nintndo and snes since I grew up with these systems like everyone else.

I'll bet that a thread like that would get plenty of attention. Just do a good search first to make sure there isn't a thread already doing that!mas wrote:Well if fellow gamers want to do this then I will follow up tomorrow when I get out of work.
