Wow, excellent question.
I doubt it, but stranger things have happened.
I wish there was a site that would discuss compatability issues, especially light guns, because that is a really difficult topic

I just tried it, guys -- no dice. Wouldn't even detect the start-button. :(

Did you try it with the official Sega brand Light Gun? or just another company brand? Or did you try both?

Don't know if the OP jackspicer is still around for a three year later Reply. The Total Control 3 is for steering wheels and button type controllers, not officialy for a lightgun. I also have doubts a lightgun would work due to the additional reads of a CRT screen converted from Saturn to Dreamcast. Does the Saturn and Dreamcast games display a different "resolution" in a 480i screen? This might affect the screen reads of the lightgun in calculating position on the CRT.

@ Original_Name - Maybe the Start button can be bypassed by a temporary swap of controllers? But then the game will pause when a controller gets unplugged. This brings another point, was the lightgun checked on a non HD CRT? Please post if you do get it to work, has my curiousity.
