What are your picks for the best/worst games of 2011?

Maybe some Wii games?

I think there was a Zelda game and a Kirby game released for the Wii this year. I have played neither, though hope to some day play both. Was there anything else? Do they still make Wii games ? Were there any new DS or PSP games this year that weren't ports of some sort? I remember Parasite Eve 3 coming out and....that's about it.

Pokemon Black & White, Ghost Trick, Inazuma Eleven, Solatorobo, Okamiden, Kirby: Mass Attack and Prof Layton 4 all came to DS this year that are worth noting, off the top of my head.

The Wii list was much worse though. Skyward Sword, Kirby, Xenoblade, the other Kirby (Epic Yarn didn't reach Europe til February). Not sure if there was anything else especially of note. There's Fortune Street in the US, but thats not out til January here.

3DS had some games of note too, even if it had a slow year.

Anyhow, I didn't play many new games this year, especially seeing as most of the noteworthy ones came when I was skint towards the summer and end of the year, but Skyward Sword, Ghost Trick and Pokemon White are definitely up there.

Good Choices, which pokemon do you prefer more Zekrom or Reshiram. Also Dialga or Palkia

Portal 2- brilliant the whole way through. Puzzles were interesting, humor was great.
Skyrim- It's Elder Scrolls. What else can you say?
Pokemon Black- one of the stronger pokemon games, and a huge step up from DPPt
Kirby Mass Attack- this is another blast of a game. It's like Kirby meets Lemmings

4. Uncharted 3 - Given how amazing U2 was, I expected this to be my GOTY.

Do fans actually refer to that game as "U2?" Because I think that's kinda sad

My Best Game of the Year pick is Dead Space 2. Loved every second of it.

My Worst Game of the year? Well it isnt a "bad" game but I went into it thinking it was going to be like its Spiritual Predecessor and that was the worst thing I could of done. I'm talking Dark Souls. If I would of played this before Demons Souls I would of LOVED the game BUT, I didn't. I had Demons Souls on the mind the entire time I played the game. I thought this was going to be a Demons Souls 2 and it is FAR from it. Still a good game but my most disappointed game of this year.

The new MK might be the most spectacular video game komeback I've ever seen. I really kan't think of another franchise that kame back in such a huge way after falling so far for so long. I seriously konsidered MK long dead before this.

(I contemplated editing my post so that all of the 'c' words started with k but I just can't bring myself to do it.)
