Took advantage of the Gamestop Gamecube sale and picked up the following:

Star Fox Assault (complete)
Pac-Man Vs & Pac-Man World 2 (complete)
Puyo Pop Fever
F-Zero GX (complete)
Super Mario Strikers (complete) - just to try it out

I think it came out to a hair over $20?

I to stepped into Game Stop for the first time in a long while to take advantage of the half off GC games today, ended up with
Luigi's mansion
Paper Mario
Star Wars Rogue Squadron II and III
Pikman
viewtiful joe

$26 total, most of the games they had were in generic cases, but got all these complete except for Luigi's mansion, which is missing the manual.

Funny story about the games, I specifically grabbed ones that were non PC and had the manuals. When getting rung out I noticed he put the 2 star wars games to the side and there were 2 more of the same in their place. I asked where they came from and he said that they have some in the drawer with discs in them already. I asked to see if there were manuals in the ones he grabbed and he gave me a puzzled look but opened them, there were none in either! Then I noticed he tried to give me a PC version of RSII, when I pointed this out, he didnt even know what I was talking about and had to examine the cases to see the difference. In the end I got the correct cases and manuals.

Edit: Damn Game Stop! Rogue Squadron II is scratched to hell and freezes in the first mission, Pikmin Looks just as bad. Guess I will stop by tomorrow to exchange, they had 2nd copies of both so I should be ok, I guess should have checked them at the store but I didnt.

I noticed them doing the same thing. He pulled out a Star Fox game that was a lot more beat than the one I pulled off the shelf. I asked if I could see the other one and asked if I could swap it. He seemed a little confused but let me take it instead of the beat one. Oddly they also had the Pac-man game complete behind the counter but a generic case on the self. :? Very confusing.

Lately good game cube games have been hard to find here. :(

Random K-Mart stop led to Dragon Quest IV for DS $15 new and Metal Slug Anthologies for Wii for $10 new. Pretty good since on ebay most are around that without including shipping that have sold. Might have to go back and dig deeper at Kmart in bins and find other good things.

I don't know how good of a deal this was but on craigslist I found:
Snes with 15 or so games. One controller, and the games are
super mario all stars
final fantasy 3
super mario world
super mario rpg
zelda
killer instinct
final fight 2
mortal kombat 1 and 2
donkey kong country
rival turf?
lion king
george forman
nhl stanly cup
porky pig
tecmo super bowl
super off road
and a few other sports games. It all came up to 80.00. The sad thing is the guy put on the listing that he had secret of mana and when I got home nothing. I called him on it and he say's he can't find it. SOL on my part but I think 80.00 is a good price to get back on the snes. Sad thing is I was getting this for my brother for christmas but after cleaning it and playing the games.... He's getting a gift card at gamestop lol

Not bad at all. Not a super deal, but you weren't ripped off. A lot depends on condition as well... the secret of mana would have set it up even better unfortunately
