What RPG are you playing right now?
Re: What RPG are you playing right now?
Ah, I see, thanks. Funny enough, I just took an RPG break as well, and the game I played was also Metal slug 7.
Current systems: Atari 2600[x2], NES(top loader), SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Saturn, Dreamcast, Playstation, PS2, PS2 slim, xbox, xbox 360, Turbografx-16, Game Boy Pocket, Game boy SP[x2], Nintendo DS[x2], Nintendo DSi, Nintendo 3DS, Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Wonderswan Color, Neo Geo MVS.

Just started playing Evergrace. The quest to beat every From Software game continues. It's nothing special, but fun for such an early PS2 game. Reminds me of a far less oppressing rendition of King's Field.

That and Gradius 3 & 4 were my first PS2 games. I was getting enjoyment out of it but I got stuck on the second 'color your equipment' point as none of the options were really blue and I couldn't seem to satisfy the right combination of conditions.brunoafh wrote:Just started playing Evergrace. I tried to play EarthBound... again...
It still hasn't clicked. I should enjoy it because I like the early DQ style gameplay but the game's "charm" doesn't work out as it should.
I'll try it again sometime... I guess...

I'm actually playing your copy, haha. Not sure if you remember, but I bought it from your b/s/t.

I couldn't remember who I'd sold it to. My trade checklist is on a whiteboard and has been wiped a few times since then. Glad it is getting some play.brunoafh wrote:@Hobie-wan

I just got hung up on the 'make your stuff blue' door as there are several shades of 'off blue' for coloring items and they're different between them. Even looking at guides, they were all text ones online at the time so they pretty much all said "What are you, stupid make yer shit blue!" Too many other games and way too long that I didn't feel like remembering what I was doing even if I got it at this point. Hopefully you figure that one out or find a picture guide so it doesn't hang you up.

I just started Grandia 2 again; hopefully I will be able to beat it or at least put a decent dent in it by the end of Christmas break.

I can't get into it either dude, it pisses so many people off when I say that. I just can't no matter how many times I try.Opa Opa wrote:I tried to play EarthBound... again...

Chalk me up as another who didn't care for the game. It's one game that I'll likely never own because it's just not worth it to me for the price. Then again, I somehow still ended up owning Yoshi's Island (packed in with the SNES jr.) and Super Mario RPG (roommate abandoned it when he moved out).Xeogred wrote:I can't get into it either dude, it pisses so many people off when I say that.
