If he reveals it then it will allow us to buy up every copy and sell it to him at an inflated price.

I understand it being worth quite a bit since it is one of the better games on the system, but why were they selling instantly? I would list one and it would be gone within minutes.
That was a colossal waste of money.

Initially I had the same impression but I think he meant that he bought every cheap copy he could find to resell on eBay for $40.

The EB Games around here were selling Wii Sports for $10. I bought many of them and resold them on Ebay for $35-40. It was insane. I didn't have the good fortune of the USA residents who were able to buy them in batches of 20 direct from GameStop HQ for $7.99 (or was it $2.99, I forget), but it was well worth the effort.

However, once Sports Resort was released, the original became almost worthless.

These come in their own boxes with earplugs, screen protector cleaning cloth and the sp comes with the charger. For 35.00 i think that's a sweet deal. I still think that the gba sp is still one of the best handhelds ever.
They're bringing them back? Or are these old ones that are still there because they never sold? And if they are bringing them back, did you see any GBA games, too?
They were probably just old ones. My Gamestop still has some GBAs and games too.
These aren't old ones. These were new in the box by a company recharge. This may be a company that gamestop created to clean up the gba's and get rid of the inventory but I saw one and it look's brnd new.

Are they all 001 (front-lit) or do they have some 101 (back-lit)?

Doesn't sound any worse than most eBay and Amazon.com sellers; which is the alternative for us not in big cities or near chains like Vintage Stock.
