I fell in love with Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna (Bonds of the Battlefield) in the arcades in Japan last year. The controls are similar to the Virtual On twin sticks, although they are more complex (more buttons and stuff). The panoramic viewscreen is incredible, and it really draws you into the game. It's expensive to play, but it's so very addicting.
I played it more on my last trip to Japan, but this time I also bought the portable version of the game for the PSP. It's different than the arcade a bit (not only just the obvious difference in control), but it's still very fun. I have not tried to set up with the Japanese PSN, nor am I sure if it's even accessible in the USA.
Has anyone else played this game?
Anyone here play Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna on PSP?

The first-person pilot aspect reminds me of Gundam Rise from the Ashes on the Dreamcast. I'll be checking this out when I get the free time.

I have played a local co-op game with a friend of mine once on the PSP. Being a huge Virtual On fan, he was blown away. I think that if he owned the game himself, he would've been able to select more than just the default GM.
I have a playlist of videos I have taken of myself while playing the game in the arcades. I started out not really knowing how to play the game, and it wasn't until I started spending time with the PSP game that I finally started getting the hang of the game's controls.
