Obviously the one was pulled from the floor since it had a $50 price sticker on it. I ordered online, but did pick up.

I don't see an option for in store pickup. If I go down to the store can I just get it at this price?

Ok, just read a few other folks posts. So they WILL match the online price in the store? I've had some people in the store say they won't in past situations.

I myself ordered online but chose pick up. Of 3 stores near me, 2 said 3-5 days but the one said I'd be able to pick up today. Apparently by the price sticker on the one, it was pulled from the floor.

Haven't found a lot recently, but the past week has given me some nice things.

Image

Zack and Wiki $2
Metal Slug Anthology $2
Game boy Color travel bag $0.50
Final Fantasy Cigarette holder $0.50
Grand Theft Auto IV Blockbuster pre-order picture $1.50

The Wii games are both sans-manual ( :( ) and most likely old rentals, but for $2 each I couldn't just let them sit there. I'll be keeping Metal Slug, but I already have Zack and Wiki, so that one's going to a friend for Christmas. I've already downloaded a pdf of the manual, so hopefully I'll have time to print it out and put it together before Christmas. The Cigarette holder is pretty cool, but I don't smoke, so I guess I'll have to find another use for it :)

Good score Hobie, my thanks again to s1mple. A great find!

@ Mech and anyone else not having luck. Best Buy will price match but you have to point it out, even their own Best Buy Website! In my earlier Reply I mentioned I could not order online on my computer but the local store could. The first Best Buy I visited was out of stock and the employee had access to order me a copy online. He also found three at another Best Buy so I just drove over there and picked it up.

Go to the store and see if Best Buy can order the bundle.

Unlike Gamestop which has the same price online or locally, Best Buy does not sometimes. The Best Buy price match to their own Web Site will only happen if the customer points it out. Any purchases at Best Buy should always be checked online for any unknown sale or discount.

:D My turn ..........

GO! GO! GO! Gamecube Games 60% off!

Doonzmore wrote: http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=158725

Today is the deal of the century for Gamecube collectors. 50% off all gamecube games plus and additional 10% off for card holders. I went to my local GS this morning and cleaned them out.

Just got back myself, picked up three exclusives after reading the post at Digital Press.

To get the word out, I made a new appropriately titled Thread, I'll keep it updated.

Is that Metal Slug Anthology on the Wii good? As in, are the games emulated well?

I've never really delved into the Metal Slug series, but I love run 'n guns, and this would be a good way to get into them.

I think they're emulated fine to be honest, just that odd feeling of them all being on the same compilation disc is my only hiccup. Of course the MVS (and I would assume AES) versions are flawless, the SAT-J port I thought was very close to flawless. I have not played the PS1/2 versions, so can't comment on those.

For $10 its certainly going to occupy at least one night in your life, so worth it for that - and then you'll know if you want to get deeper into the series.
