How do you transport your Dreamcast?

Post by marurun »

How do you take your Dreamcast from place to place? As far as 4-player games go it's an excellent platform. I want to be able to take the Dreamcast and cables, VGA box, and 4 standard controllers out with me to a friend's house on a semi-regular basis. Do you guys just throw everything in a duffel or do you get more creative?

I use an official Sega Dreamcast carrying case. Works great and everything fits well and securely into the compact bag.

I wrap the console in a t-shirt and throw it in my bookbag. Controllers and everything too, but no t-shirt for them.

i have a one that's all beat up that I can take on the road in a shoe box with 2 controllers and a light gun.

If were were taking my mint condition one I'd encase it in carbonite and then seal it in a giant tupperware container full of jello. but thats just me.

I would be really easy to transport if it weren't for the massive controllers.
I usually throw the DC with games in a shoebox, put it in my bag and put controls in there.

Official carry bag!

Though I hardly carry it around, most of my DC playing friends have one already

I carry everything in a laptop bag. It can fit a console, 2 controllers, as many vmu's as I can jam in their and all cables necessary. If I need extra controller I just put those in a plastic bag and bring them with me.

a sizable leather duffel bag. I can carry two dreamcast, five controllers, two maracas or two keyboards, and several spindles of games.
