I beat Hatsune Miku Project Diva for the PSP. This is a typical button pressing rhythm game that uses Hatsune Miku songs. According to my save file, it took me 42 hours. It was a very fun game, but some of the costumes took way too long to unlock.

Besides unlocking every costume, I cleared every song on every difficulty with a great or higher. "Great" basically means near perfect.

I would like to play Project Diva 2nd but I don't own it yet. I will be sure to get it at some point though. It's supposed to be a much better game than the first one.

i remember wanting this game so bad. i heard nothing but great things about it. i actually found the game in the wild probably one or two years ago, but for whatever reason, i just never got around to actually sitting down with it to try to beat it until now. and i must say, it was a let down. it is terrible? no. is it great? not even close. it ranks right up there with clockwork knight as being just another average saturn platformer. the level design sucks. the controls are stiff. the graphics are nice, however. it kind of has a 16 bit look to it.

this series needs a reboot/sequel because it definitely has potential to being a great game.
if you took a shit, please put it back

Short of 100% all the collectibles, I'd agree. Assuming you mean perform all house upgrades and then pay it all off.

Breezed threw The Adventures of Batman and Robin on the Genesis last night.

For a pretty average looking game, it was pretty fun. Nothing to write home about, but a fun game especially if you enjoy the Batman AS. I believe I paid around one buck for the game, so it was definitely worth picking up.

2010 Games Beaten

LBP2 is as cute and charming as can be, but as a game it generally felt poorer than LBP1 or the excellent PSP LBP game (which is still my favorite in the series). That said, the last 2 worlds of LBP2 are really great stuff and probably outclassed anything in any previous LBP game...but the other 2/3 of the game just feels like a long tutorial leading up to those stages. I actually picked this up on release a long time ago but had abandoned the main game to play a lot of the excellent user made content...much of which is superior the majority of levels found in story mode.

Pink Sweets. Yeah. This one will go on that list of games that I'll probably never beat in 4 credits (my typical goal for most shmups is to beat them for a $1 since 1ccs are generally beyond me). It is beautiful, it has amazing design, and it is a hell of a lot of fun - and the first 4 levels are all pretty reasonable in terms of difficulty. Stages 5 (the trains) and 6 (shit coming from all over the screen) are just insane, though, and well beyond my skill. I know it shares a heritage with two of my favorite titles (Battle Garegga and Ibara), but it isn't near as good as either of those, IMO.
