Constitutional rights don't matter when the government decides they don't like something. It's really a shame that the police are obeying these illegal orders to attack and arrest peaceful protesters. They are supposed to be on our side! Fucking disgraceful.

"To protect and serve"? Lol, couldn't be more wrong. -_-

It was quite a bizarre scene. The police came and were forcing people out of the park. Although I've been participating in the Occupy, I never actually camped out overnight, so I had no belongings with me. When I was told to "pack up my shit and leave" I stated that I had nothing with me: no tent, cooking gear, etc. Then I was told that I had to leave. I asked a police officer if it was legal to kick a non-violent citizen out of a public park, I was told I had to remove myself or else risk getting "fucked up".

Those cops make me sick. There you are, trying to help improve the country, and they choose to illegally stop you. They are just as corrupt as the major corporations, bankers and the government.

Was any of this recorded? I say now is the time to start suing police departments.

Good idea, but sadly most of the judges have been bought out as well. Still, I think it's worth trying.

When we were kids (around 12), we used to pelt cars/buses/trucks with snowballs all the time. I don't see kids doing that anymore.

I remember once when we pelted a semi-trailer and the guy slammed his brakes on, then pulled out a large monkey wrench out of his side compartment and started chasing after us to beat the *&^% out of us. Fortunately, we were fast and knew the layout of the woods.

I think "keying" other people's cars is more popular these days.

Right here!! Ahh, that takes me back.. I'm 30 now, but when my friends and I were about 12 or 13, we used to hock gravel and small rocks at cars from nearby ditches.. One time, a bright yellow corvette came cruising around the bend at at least 20 mph over the local speed limit. My buddy and I grabbed a couple of nearby tomatoes (seriously!) and fast-balled the damn things onto this douche-nozzle's passenger-side door.
Wellllll..... Apparently the brakes on a 'vette are of really good quality, cuz this guy stopped right on a dime as the second tomato splashed all over his passenger-side window..
And that was the day I ran my fastest quarter mile dash.

Smile: Turner Broadcasting called me back. They are moving ahead with creating the position and want me to fill out the necessary paperwork for a background check. According to the recruiter, the plan is to offer me a position next Monday, with Jan. 9 serving as my tentative start date.

I'm excited, nervous, happy, anxious, and terrified it will somehow all fall through.
