What does Albert Pujol's salary have to do with piracy? And just because you aren't willing to pay the purchase price of something, doesn't mean you can just take it for free.

Ah, life as we know it thanks to the peer-pressure of the omni-present Internet.

The world is complex, with people getting paid all sorts of amounts for doing all sorts of tasks. ($2M grant was given inside the US toward research on how squirrels reproduce.)
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

That's my line. This is what determines if piracy is OK or not.

Piracy is a tool like any other. It can be used for good or bad. The law and the movie companies need to understand this.

You can use a knife to help you prepare dinner, or you can use a knife to murder an innocent person. It's no different with movie downloads.

It doesn't give you a right to just take it for free though. That's the whole point. Nobody cares if you don't want to spend money on something, whatever, but, people do care that you're taking something that you don't have the right to take.

Wow dude, you are saying that artists own their own work and can do whatever they want with it as any other worker can. That's radical man.

Here we go...

Please explain why it's wrong to pirate a movie you would have never bought. Give me an actual reason or explanation, besides just saying that "it's wrong" or "it's illegal".

Because you are not entitled to the work of others.

Legally, yes. You are right and I am not arguing about that. I am asking for an explanation of how it does harm.
