Re: Game Sack
Haha, nice ending. I thought it was going to be The Earth Defend or something first.

Re: Game Sack
Good episode. I totally agree with you on the PAL dreamcast boxes, they're awful. The PAL saturn boxes are terrible too.
As for where I fall on these, I love Yoshi's Island (and tbh, I haven;t heard much controversy about it) and Super Mario Sunshine (my favourite mario game in fact), but I haven't played enough of Sonic CD or Shenmue to judge. Shenmue looks like a game I would want to love, but the waiting around is something that could annoy me.
P.S. Dave's Lucky Hit board is awesome, I want one!

Re: Game Sack
Nice episode, but because there were so many games it felt a little like you weren't telling us much besides some of the games besides "they're awesome!".
I know you can't mention everything, but it'd have been nice if you'd spoken a little about the game boy ports of ducktales, even if it was just a quick mention too.
Don't take my criticisms wrong though, I still really enjoy the show. I've played several of these games myself. I agree with your opinions on Aladdin for Mega Drive 100%, and I've played both the SMS and Mega Drive Castle of Illusions and I love them equally. Both are great. I also ahve Quackshot, which I absolutely love, The Lion King on genesis, which I also think is a fantastic game, The Lucky Dime Caper for Master System which is a decent game, and Rescue Rangers on NES which is fun, but too easy.
I really should get round to picking up Ducktales, the other Illusion games, Deep Duck Trouble, Darkwing Duck and maybe the Magical Quest series sometime. I even heard The Little Mermaid game is meant to be pretty good. It's amazing how many quality games came out based on Dinsey Licenses back then. As long as you overlook certain travesties like The Jungle Book, Talespin and any disney game on Turbografx...

Re: Game Sack
Good show but, Dave seemed to stay too close to the script and it was a little stiff.

Re: Game Sack
The show was running long and some things had to be left out. I originally wanted to cut Magical Quest and move it to the montage but Dave really wanted to talk about that one.
Re: Game Sack
But as they said in the video, you don't have to WAIT. There is so much to do and the time moves fast. Talk to people, buy a drink, go shopping, gamble in the Slot House, and of course, PLAY THOSE SEGA ARCADE GAMESalienjesus wrote:Shenmue looks like a game I would want to love, but the waiting around is something that could annoy me.!

Those Sega arcade games are the only fun to be found in that "game".ExedExes wrote:But as they said in the video, you don't have to WAIT. There is so much to do and the time moves fast.
