The internet is dead.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

From the Article
AT&T, based in Dallas, charges digital subscriber line, or DSL, customers who exceed a monthly limit of 150 gigabytes in three consecutive months $10 extra for every additional 50 gigabytes of data they use.
I pay $80 for 4mbs-40GB/m limit . For extra 15GB I have to pay $45 .
$10 for 50GB is da bomb of an offer!!

Personally I think heavy media like games(7GB) and movies(2.4GB) bandwidth price should be inclusive. Say a game costs $50 . Something like $1 should go to the ISP to provide 7GB of bandwidth and $49 should be going to the game seller. This way no one will worry about download limits and personally I think media sales will flourish compared to your pirating which will costs you , your monthly bandwidth. This could be a good strategy to fight piracy...maybe..

Well at least when the aliens come we won't have to worry about any of this.

The aliens will have "Ubernet" and it will be free of charge via a "Sci-fi" signal beamed from Neptune 8)

Actually, there won't be any lag at all. The connection will be fast as shit, measured in light years (LY) rather than KB/sec
