Frown: Missed Breath of Fire III & IV by 9 cents. Should have bid higher, I could have, too!

Smile: Taking my girlfriend to a surprise dinner date, tonight: sushi!

Hey Ack, sorry to hear about the job, but at least it's not all doom and gloom, and you should feel good that they praised you so highly and hinted at future employment. Best of luck in getting a good job!

 : Saw a 32" Sony Wega at Goodwill today for $60, $23 more than I currently have! Odds that the thing will still be there next time I have money: 1 to 1,000,000.

:) : Got Myst (PC) at the same store, $3.

Smile: Apparently out of 165 candidates, I placed 2nd. The recruiter called me personally to tell me how well I'd done and inform me of the possibility of more of that same type of position opening in the near future. Apparently the interviewers loved me and thought I'd be a great fit, but the person who got the job had more experience working with film. They told me to keep in touch to see what progress is being made.

Meanwhile I've started sending my resume out to jobs in Texas. I've already had that phone interview for the position in Harker Heights, and I just sent in my info for one in Victoria. Texas City and Garland also have jobs, as do other places, so for now I'm going to keep applying.
So close! One of them will click soon though for sure.

:) They should be here in less than 12 hours!

Smile:

-The classic Animated Series Batman skin in Arkham City clashes hilariously against the gritty, textured style of everything else, but it's still cool to rep as the classic Batman I remember from my childhood - giant white eyes and all.

Frown:

-Splitting headache, probably from playing too much of the aforementioned.
-Still can't seem to find certain games I've been on the hunt for, but I am trying to be patient.
-I found an awesome deal on studio monitors last month, they never came...I got my money back, but I was really hoping to get them because I want to continue making music. Now, I'm not sure if I ever will, I was just hoping those speakers would be the catalyst to get me back into my old hobby. I don't have enough money to buy the same product from another source, I was actually lucky to get them for that price--just sucks that the seller turned out to be a scammer.
If you like retro games, come hang out on my stream!

Smile: Someone just pointed out to me that the song Rick Perry uses in his implicitly anti-gay campaign video...was written by a gay man.

As a life long Texas citizen, you have no idea how fun it is to watch this guy destroy himself in front of the entire country.

Frown: Started up Kirby Air Ride and I don't like it. I WANT to like it but it just feels like a half-finished idea.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Doesn't that Rick Perry video have the highest number of dislikes ever on a YouTube vid? I think I recall reading that the other day, that he had just beat Rebecca Black. What a clown.

Perry ought to quit while he's behind. I think Gingritch and Romney have it wrapped up already, and he's only serving to harm his state politics career.

In that case, he should keep it up!

Maybe we'll finally wise up and elect a different governor.
