Re: The Christmas Thread
I only buy for family. Parents, brothers/sisters, grandparents, and a couple cousins. That's it. We got a real tree last night and the house smells awesome, can't wait to get all the shit on it. Only then will I be in the true Christmas mood. And wow, there's only 8 days left. This has been the fastest year ever for me.

2011 BUMP!
Exactly one year since the last revival.
So who's in the Holiday spirit? I busted out my Christmas playlist, gonna add to it this year. I'm also planning out all the specials and movies I'm gonna watch.

Re: The Christmas Thread
I love Christmastime! And I love that it's one word!
It's kinda hard to get into the Christmas spirit right now because of the temperature. Early and mid November, it got cold. Below freezing a couple of days. Then the weather decided it wasn't time for winter yet. It's been in the 50's and 60's the past week or two. And it just feels... weird. Especially since the Christmas tunes are playing. Hopefully it'll chill down, and that will get me in the mood more.
I took complete advantage of the weather and put the lights up already. I usually like to wait until after the first week in December, but I definitely recall freezing my ass off doing it every year. It was pretty nice to do it in warm weather. But I'm with you, I boycott Christmas until the 1rst. At least until after Thanksgiving for crying out loud!
I highly suggest this CD to every one:
It's my favorite Christmas album, I absolutely love it! You can preview the tracks in that link, track 5 is my favorite. If you get sick of Christmas music (which isn't me) then definitely check it out. It's refreshing in that respect. Most of the songs are instrumentals.
Maybe the avatar hat trick will get me in the mood.

Watched the He-Man & She-Ra Christmas special tonight.
Re: The Christmas Thread
Bought a tree last weekend, and it is "To the Internet!" for shopping for a ton of people. I was going to post in the "What are you Giving" thread, but a few minutes in I realized it would be a long post.
Re: The Christmas Thread
I wanna watch Kiss Saves Santa.
For that matter, I was very disappointed when I found out that Angles With Filthy Souls wasn't a real movie.

Re: The Christmas Thread
I'm currently reading Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Well listening to an audio book of it. I then plan to watch all of the movies in chronological order to compare them.

I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!
