What to do with this CRT?

Post by RyaNtheSlayA »

So I've still got this 24" Wega 24FS120 I bought. It's a great TV but I really don't have a huge use for it. I'd like to keep it but the only thing I use it for now is occationally playing my Saturn. My PS3 is hooked up to my LCD monitor, and while it looks nice on the CRT it's obviously not optimal for playing current gen games.

So what to do with this beast? It's not really worth my time to sell it, and it has a good amount of life in it, I'm just not sure what to do with the thing.

I guess I could keep it for when I move out.

How many consoles do you have? I have two televisions, a CRT and a high-def one. I use the HDTV solely for Xbox 360/PS3 and watching movies. Everything else hooks to the CRT.

Keep it, Wegas are solid, that's what I have. 8)

Use it as an excuse to collect more retro systems/games.

You're new so you don't know, but I just sold the majority of my game systems and games.

Oh no argument here. Galactic Attack looks amazing with s-video. It's just, I'm not sure I can justify keeping it just for the Saturn, but it's not like I'd get any money for it either.

That is the same thought that led to picking up my 14" Toshiba because it fits perfectly on my desk with component and svideo inputs 8)
