I've been hearing about these guys like crazy lately. Never have given them a listen. I think they were on late night programming (Jimmy Fallon) a day or so ago.Stark wrote:Yes. Awesome.dsheinem wrote:

I got into them with their RubberFactory album and haven't passed on a release since. Really excellent stuff.s1mplehumar wrote:I've been hearing about these guys like crazy lately. Never have given them a listen. I think they were on late night programming (Jimmy Fallon) a day or so ago. 8

Yup, I have their full discography. I like the earlier Thickfreakness too. Really, they haven't put out anything bad yet.Stark wrote:I'm sure you have, but if you haven't go back and listen to Big Come Up, that album is so good.dsheinem wrote:I got into them with their RubberFactory album and haven't passed on a release since. Sweet, how about Dan Auerbach's solo album? Totally speaks to his earlier Black Keys stuff.dsheinem wrote:Yup, I have their full discography. I like the earlier Thickfreakness too. Really, they haven't put out anything bad yet.

Started listening to Blakrok after my discussion with DSH about the Black Keys, seems like very solid stuff. Should appeal to those on here that are into R&B/Hip-hop.

Great album. I hope he does another, enjoyed Legendary Classics but now he just does show-stealing verses on other people's songs.OldSchool_Boy wrote:
