I need a short-ish easy linear portable RPG I can finish (while traveling) before December is over (so I can start Golden Axe Warrior for Together Retro in January). Any suggestions? I was thinking of a dungeon crawler like one of the FF Crystal Chronicles games, or maybe From the Abyss.

i just started playing terranigma. i've played about 5 hours and it's awesome so far. the theme of the plot is realy great and unique. i guess i have to play illusion of time (european version of illusion of gaia) next :D

Gah! You should have played Soul Blader first, then Illusion of Time, then Terranigma. :P

i know but i just got it and a friend got it to so we play it together somehow.
i have illusion of time but somehow i havnt played it yet...
and i havent found soulblazer for a reasonable price...

Playing Grandia 2. I haven't really found any current gen RPGs i like. I'll probably replay some of my psone and other RPGs this coming year =(

I'm playing Phantasy Star 4 and Pier Solar on the Genesis. Two of the best Rpg IMO

Im currently playing Skullmonkeys and Rainbow Islands Enhanced,But having trouble deciding on playing either Parasite Eve or Saga Frontier.Really wanna play Legend of mana which I dont have.

I say Parasite Eve. The combat system is pretty interesting and I like the characters.
