So what have you guys been watching lately?

Fashion Police (watch it sometime. It's basically a roast lead by Joan Rivers, and once a week)

Outside the Lines
The Sports Reporters (best show on espn, imo)
Sopranos
Sopranos again
*break*
Football (two games with pip)
More Football
Some more football and perhaps the Walking Dead (as long as it's not another episode of two guys crying for an hour).
Other than football, I can't get on board with any of this. I very rarely ever watch Sportscenter anymore as I can gather more information with 10 minutes on espn.com than I can in 60-90 minutes of the super-repetitive Sportscenter. Also: too many commercials.

I don't find Joan Rivers funny, and that show sounds like my worst nightmare. I also have never understood the appeal of The Soup, as it is basically just bad jokes about bad celebrity news and gossip or TV/movies that I don't care about. Gag me.

I like Sports Reporters and sometimes like OTL, but again I find that there are far too many commercials, and I find that the web generally offers more information in a fraction of the time. I probably watch 3-4 hours in total of non-game programming on ESPN during most weeks, and it tends to be on Monday/Tuesday to hear people argue about what happened over the weekend (I prefer PTI/ATH or First Take) or on Friday to hear them debate what will be happening the coming weekend.

I can't get on board with watching what I assume are the basic cable airings of The Sopranos. I watched the whole run when it was on HBO (it was once part of my Sunday TV routine - in the days before DVRs), and it is one of my all time favorite shows. I have tried, but can't sit through even 10 minutes of the butchered and censored version of the show. Also, too many commercials. Deplorable.

The Walking Dead is on the "to watch" list, but I am guessing I probably won't sit down to do so until late Spring/early Summer.

My Sunday TV schedule:

8am-10am- Sesame Street/ other educational TV while I do chores
10am-1pm - none
1pm-7:30pm- Cowboys game for one time slot, Red Zone channel for the other
8-11pm - Sunday night football, if I care about the game...otherwise I might watch stuff from the week that I didn't watch live (e.g. The Office, Bored to Death). Sometimes I'll watch Boardwalk Empire live if I get caught up in time, but usually I am a few weeks behind when it airs.
11pm-later - I might watch a movie or do some prep work for Monday/Tuesday

I prefer the original Sopranos on DVD, but I get a kick out of the censored/edited shows. What they censor, how they censor it, and the edits crack me up, much like how I find the censored version of MALLRATS hilarious (they replaced "all it took was two fatty blunts" with "all it took was a karate punch").

When they cut an entire scene without any exposition, or replace mother fucker with "blood sucker" or "mother lover", I can't help but smile.

I watched half of the pilot for Neverland. It was dreadful.

I'm all caught up on Grimm, and it's gotten pretty boring. It's just monster of the week so far. I need to see some character development and some kind of arc or this show will just be a dud, doomed to be a shadow of better shows in the same wheel house like Supernatural, Buffy and Angel

Once Upon a Time is still good. This is a bright spot among some of the new shows. I think we need to see something really major or shocking soon though, which we may be getting next Sunday. Given that some of the people behind this show have worked on Lost, and we've seen great writing talent like Jane Espenson do an episode, I expect a lot from this show. I will say that they make very good use of their budget, sets, special effects and locations. The show is a joy to watch visually

Terra Nova gets a lot of hate and I've bashed it a bit myself, but it's growing on me. I don't know what it is, but I'm finding it fun despite some little plot holes and little depth to the writing. The characters are growing on me a bit and it's got some good action

I gave up on Ringer. I was having trouble finding time to get caught up and the show was a little too soapy for me anyway

I'm watching through Seinfeld currently. I'm up to the beginning of season 3 right now. So far, pretty good.

Truth be told, I've never had much of an interest in television, and Hollywoods movies generally bore me to tears. Used to watch the news, but now I rely on the interbutts for that. Most of what I watch is anime on DVD (yeah I know, typical weeaboo).

The only shows I've been watching lately are crime dramas like Law and Order: SVU, Criminal Minds, and CSI. I like to catch the marathons where I can just zone out and watch four episodes in a row. I usually just watch the reruns on A&E, Ion, Cloo, etc. I have no idea when new episodes air.

My all-time favorite show. I own all nine seasons on DVD and watch them regularly. Are you trying to watch them all in sequence? Shit gets pretty absurd once you hit season 8 (this is when Larry David left), just a warning.

Yeah, I'm watching in sequence. What exactly do you mean by "Shit gets pretty absurd once you hit season 8"?

Well that's when Larry David, one of the shows creators, stopped writing and it's quite noticeable. None of the later episodes follow the "did you ever notice ___________?" formula that characterized the early episodes, instead the characters find themselves in outlandish and absurd situations like:

- Elaine meets "bizarro" versions of George, Jerry, and Kramer
- Kramer wages war against a fast food chicken place
- Kramer brings the set of The Merv Griffin show into his apartment
- George seeks to obtain the Frogger machine that has his high score on it
- There's a "backwards episode" (scenes are shown in reverse order) where everyone attends a wedding in India
- The infamous "banned episode" (shown only once on NBC I think) where Kramer burns a Puerto Rican flag

....... and I don't wanna give too much away. Don't get me wrong, I love the later seasons, but they are a point of contention among some fans.

With Fringe and The Walking Dead off the air there's little reason to switch on the telly for recreation.

I'm just the opposite with this show. It started off great, heavy in the sci-fi and conspiracies. But then it got more boring, cliched, and drawn-out as it went on, IMO.

I just finished the 2nd part (which is the final part, it's not a pilot, it's a mini-series), and I thought it was fantastic. Great special effects, especially considering it's a made-for-TV-movie. Good acting. And it told the origin story of Peter Pan, The Lost Boys, Captain Hook, and Neverland quite well. As far as I know, this is the first telling of those origins, as well, so it's something new. The only way I could imagine not enjoying this is not enjoying the subject matter itself, which I admit I am a bit biased towards since Hook was one of my favorite childhood movies.
