Re: View Active Topics problem?
I'm using subsilver2 since the default limits the width and ends up wasting a ton of real estate since I have my browser window huge like xbox. As I've mentioned before, subsilver2 still has the phpbb logo, an plain text racketboy.com in the header, and does not have the better search link. I think the IRC link is missing too, if that is on the others.

Re: View Active Topics problem?
I too use the view active topics option solely and I'm sad that it's not working. It's better than the "view new posts" option IMO, as it gives you many more threads than the "view new posts" option. What if I want to find a semi active thread to read something I saw before but it hasn't been updated since I last saw it? The new posts option won't find that thread for me, but the active topics one will.
Re: View Active Topics problem?
yup..."view new posts" only gives me two pags of threads...dating back to about 10pm last night. "view active topics" let you set a timeframe, and I'd much, much rather have that. please get it fixed soondeathsled wrote:I too use the view active topics option solely and I'm sad that it's not working. i stand by my previous statement that "view active topics" is by far the best way to catch up on forum activity.

Re: View Active Topics problem?
Ditto for me. I get the list of topics that have new posts in them and then scroll through the list looking for topics of interest to me. Then I click on the "first new post" icon and open in new tab for those that look interesting.noiseredux wrote:I've always only used the "view new posts" link myself.
Re: View Active Topics problem?
Am I wrong in thinking that "view new posts" can only give you 2 pages of results? right now the last "new post" is listed at 10:17pm. Since I didn't really read threads between 6pm and 6am, this leaves quite a few out...gtmtnbiker wrote:Ditto for me. I've had view new posts give me more than 2 pages before. Only problem with it is that it seems to 'reset' at random, only giving me a handful of threads if any at all.
