Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
SMILE: I'm almost done all my Christmas shopping, save for stocking stuffers and a couple of little things.
FROWN: My sister-in-law and I usually buy each other games for Christmas. She texted me and says "Hope you don't mind, but I got yours used at GameStop." Maybe I'm being bratty, but I think this is kinda crappy. I specifically asked for a game that's easy to find and sold everywhere (Wal-Mart, Target, etc). Don't get me wrong, I have no problem getting pre-owned games if they're older and out-of-print. But getting someone a pre-owned Wii game as a Christmas gift just seems... odd.
DOUBLE FROWN: Started using a new acne medication a few weeks ago. It sucks ass, doesn't seem to agree with my skin and I look worse than when I started. Shitty times.

Hope you guys had a great time. Sucks that I couldn't make it. Thankfully the apt is almost packed now.Flake wrote:Smile: Redline is coming over later today with a projector TV. Metal Slug on a 6'x7' screen!
Hmm... Ack in Austin. Now that would make for some epic CTX meet ups.Ack wrote:Nah, haven't started that yet. I usually start by looking at universities first and spread from there. I'm currently looking at the U.T. Austin employment stuff.

Congrats Xeogred!
Smile: I've applied for a job with the state Department of Agricutlure that I really, really want. Awesome thing is that at work today and I ended up having to call the state director for ag who'll likely be making the hiring decision. I asked him if I could call him after work hours to discuss the job and he said he'd be happy to.
