What are you listening to at the present? (genres helpful)

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Interesting, but the vocals put me off. To screamy. I'm not trying to say it's screamo or anything, but it to... I don't know how to say it.

And not an 8 track recorder. It seemed pretty obvious to me.

if the vocals put you off then you should listen to any of Ulver's other albums. the vocals on the other records are more "accessible." this is the only one that sounds the way it does. i love the production though, it's almost hypnotizing. i really doubt they recorded it in a forest, however. still sounds cool

I've been listening to this too!

That Ulver record is pretty good. I personally prefer when black metal has that lo-fi sound. I'll have to check out their other records. Apparently they have an electronic one too?

Honestly, I would skip most of the electronic Ulver stuff (which is everything 1998-present) and go for straight for their first three classic albums: Bergtatt: Et eeventyr i 5 capitler, Kveldssanger, and Nattens madrigal. Their first album is the best, in my opinion.

Its a 5 song EP. There's a 7 song Deluxe version out there for the independent stores to carry but even the one I frequent to didn't get any copies.
