I am glad that I maintained a media blackout on this game despite assuming I would never play it. Several times I was tempted to read through the huge thread on NeoGAF, but I resisted. Now I will be able to play the game with zero preconceptions or spoilers. I just have to somehow evade all the inevitable online chatter for the next five months.

I refuse to even watch a trailer at this point. I saw nothing for Skyward Sword other than the E3 trailer, and it still managed to spoiled at least two surprise things for me.
