Hey people. Found this site through goaferboy who just also recently joined. My name is Phil and im 23.
To be honest ive been a fan of retro gaming for years, basically prefering it to the stuff I play now on current generation consoles but rarely looked further into it. Since goaferboy started his collection its made me very nostalgic so ive pulled out all my old consoles and games.
At the moment I have:
Atari 2600
Gameboy
NES
GameGear
Playstation
Gamecube
DS
Xbox
Xbox 360
Used to have a lot more actually but over the years I tended to trade them in a lot more than I should have.

Hi All,
I'm glad I found this forum. I've played all types of games for the last 25 years, and I've kept all my consoles (at least one from each gen from the Atari 2600 thru xbox 360). I'm not so much into the "retro" scene as much as there are simply games that I'm still playing and trying to beat despite playing them for 20 years! Ghosts and Goblins on NES and R-type on the Turbografx come to mind.
Seriously, I'm thinking of moving from being an accumulator, just never getting rid of games I get new to actively collecting some old stuff and expanding my library of retro titles, so I'm glad I found this site, it's got good traffic and seems very well done!

I've never been able to beat Ghosts and Golins either! Damn that game.
ohh.. and welcome to the forums!
You'll find lots of people here that like to trade!
Alrighty I'm Tithis and I'm and 18 year old college student. I've been playing video games as long as I can remember. Since we were relatively poor my game collection has stayed pretty small I never had a Super Nintendo and I feel I missed out on a lot of good games. I first started to use emulators around when I was 14. I did it originally to play Harvest Moon, however since then I've downloaded many more emulators and games and made myself a nice setup. I run my emulators on my TV and play them using a 2-player PS2 adapter and I run the front end Maximus Arcade. So once I start up the front end I can play any of my games without leaving my bed.
I guess thats basically it. So nice to meet you
