Well, for my stuff, 4 will work for you, 2 will if you have the device hacked, else 1 is a probably yes and the other a no.

I myself am done. Too much work to come up with questions, try and prevent cheating, and provide clues that can't be googled directly just so I can give something away for free. As I whined twice during the course of this one, the fun has mostly been sucked out of these for me.*sigh*
Ahhhhh... knew I joined the forums a bit too late for all the big action. I COULDA BEEN A CONTENDA!sevin0seven wrote:^yeah, what hobie says. ever since Google Image has been born it's more work to do images questions now. it takes out the fun of Name that game. but regarding doing another round, i'm always open for the possibility if the stars align. but for now i'm done as well.
At any rate, thanks Hobie and Sevin for all the work and variations that you put in that I saw these past 2 weeks. Maybe if someone can handle all the headaches we can do this again -- it's a good exercise for this old retro man. Didn't even know Biker Mice From Mars got a PS2 game years after the series and that Dynamite Headdy lookalike for the Genesis -- would not have known that one. Lots of good obscurities in there. Glad I got a Shmup and a DC one right though

There have been occasional 'just for fun' threads where somone posts a screenshot and whomever answers posts another for a round of guessing. That's less pressure if you're only posting something if you get the last one and no contest to worry about.

Ok, I think I have decided to gamble with Hobie-Wans fun of goodies.

Yeah, I know I was annoying when I kept harping about the cheater prevention. But, with the amount of time I've spent on the last rounds, I know how upset I would have been if someone had cheated to win.Hobie-wan wrote: I myself am done. With that being said, I think there are ways to trick the reverse image while still making the image clear enough to draw clues. I realize it's another step, but you should be able to apply it to pre-existing images, so at least you won't have to come up with your own screen shots. While the clever clues make it more interesting, there are several easier clues that could make the host's job much easier (e.g. genre, system, theme, number of players, year, region, etc.). As far as your last point goes, I really don't think anyone is playing for the prize. While I appreciate the prizes I have received, I would have been completely content without them. In other words, I vote the next round has no host provided prizes. If people really want a prize, perhaps they can do side bets on their own.
I really wish these threads got more traffic. This thread shows that there is interest, so we just need more people willing to keep those threads going.Hobie-wan wrote:There have been occasional 'just for fun' threads where somone posts a screenshot and whomever answers posts another for a round of guessing. And with that out of the way, I'd like to thank Hobie and Sevin for running yet another round of NTG. I know it's a ton of work, and even more-so this round. I'm just happy for another excuse to research random games.

I was participating in this one, but apparently my last post was too difficult.

Shoot, forgot to take a pic of my haul from sevin, and all that's at college. If I remember to do it when I get back up there, I'll take a picture for everyone.

Admittedly most of that was stuff that made it into my hands that didn't fall under my interests and I don't have a PSP. Space Siege was a fun (if short) romp though and I had recently finished it. Hopefully you have some fun with them.
