Heh, that's just Capcom for you. Demon's Crest too is similar in shooting/platforming, and a great game on top of that. Ever played Master Blaster?

Demon's Crest is with Firebrand right? I'll be working on that after I finish Ultimate Ghosts N Goblins which the game is getting easier now that I have a flying shield =)

Yes sure it is. And it is a magnificent game. Definitely in the top 30, maybe pushed into top 20. Think Castlevania IV meets Ghouls and Ghosts.
